Job Description

This Supermarket Associate role supports day-to-day grocery operations in a Manhattan store serving a steady customer flow. The work is centered on keeping aisles stocked, helping shoppers locate items, and maintaining a clean and orderly department. Common responsibilities include unloading and organizing deliveries, rotating stock, checking product dates, filling shelves and coolers, facing merchandise, and assisting at registers or self-check areas when needed. Team members may also respond to basic customer questions, help with bagging, and support general cleaning tasks across the store. Expected qualifications generally include dependable attendance, clear communication, basic customer service skills, and the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Prior grocery or retail experience is useful but not always required. Physical demands may include standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying moderate-weight grocery items.
