Optometrist – Everyday Eye Care
Locations: Pasco, WA • Sunnyside, WA • Hermiston, OR
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation is $600 per day guaranteed or 40% of net collections, whichever is greater . Productive doctors have the ability to earn $1,000+ per day
Everyday Eye Care is a modern, technology-driven optometry practice located within Walmart Vision Centers. We provide comprehensive eye care ranging from routine exams and contact lenses to medical optometry, ocular disease management, urgent visits, and advanced diagnostic testing.
Our clinics are equipped with Optos ultra-widefield imaging, OCT, retinal raster imaging, visual field testing, modern diagnostic equipment, and electronic medical records . Advanced retinal imaging is incorporated into the examination workflow, giving doctors immediate access to objective diagnostic information and allowing for earlier disease detection and better patient education.
Doctors have the opportunity to practice a broad scope of optometry, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataract co-management, Plaquenil screening, dry eye, retinal disease, anterior segment conditions, urgent eye care, and ongoing medical disease management.
Our experienced staff handles much of the administrative and technical workflow, including patient intake, insurance verification, pre-testing, retinal imaging, scheduling, billing support, and patient follow-up, allowing the doctor to focus on clinical care.
Compensation is $600 per day guaranteed or 40% of net collections, whichever is greater . Productive doctors have the ability to earn $1,000+ per day , creating strong upside for doctors who want to build their production while still having the security of a guaranteed daily rate.
We offer excellent staff support, busy patient schedules, advanced diagnostic technology, clinical autonomy, and opportunities to work primarily at one location or across multiple EDEC locations.
We are looking for an optometrist who holds or is eligible for a Washington and/or Oregon license, enjoys both routine and medical optometry, is comfortable managing ocular disease, values advanced technology, and wants to use the full scope of their clinical training.
