Service is our number one priority and we know that our technicians are what makes us great!Job Duties:Diagnose and repair residential appliances including, but not limited to washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, freezersUtilize laptop and phone to document and research informationProvide exceptional and timely customer serviceMaintain tools, equipment and company vansExperience required:High school diploma or equivalent is requiredValid driver's license2 years' experience as an in-home service providerExcellent customer service skillsComputer skillsExcellent communication skillsMechanical and electrical knowledgeMust be able to lift 50 pounds2 weeks paid trainingPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.Are you prepared to start your journey toward becoming an appliance technician?
